What is a multi-planar exercise?
Multi-planar exercises work in more than one direction at a time. They have tremendous functional value as you can combine rotation with flexor and extensor development. What this means is increased flexibility and strength while performing everyday activities and athletic movements.
How do you know what pieces of gear are right for me?
Individual pieces offer varied exercises and target specific areas differently. The gear that is right for you depends on what you are trying to accomplish with your fitness goals. If you are unsure, please contact us and we would be happy to discuss your goals and what gear would be best suited for you. Bodylastics or Flat Resistance Bands?
For the most part, this is a matter of personal preference and which resistance band feels better for you. Flat resistance bands tend to feel more like free weights. Whereas, Bodylastics resistance bands feel more like cable machines.
How long does it take to get my order?
Shipping time varies on location. Typically orders arrive within 5-7 business days. Most orders ship within one business day.

What are the benefits of training with resistance bands?
There are many benefits of training with resistance bands. Here's a few:
- Resistance bands do not rely on gravity to generate force. Free weights use gravity and gravity only provides resistance in a vertical plane. However, everyday activities require a variety of movements: from up and down, side to side, and across multiple angles. Resistance bands facilitate training across these multiple planes; therefore, your body is "functionally" prepared for a vast array of movements such as swinging a baseball bat, golf club or tennis racket, playing with the kids, or helping your friend move!
- Linear Variable Resistance - Resistance progressively increases as you stretch the band. Not using gravity also means there is continuous tension applied to the muscles being trained. The farther the band stretches; the more tension you also receive from the band.
- Easier to maintain proper technique and not "cheat."
- No spotter required.
